Hey everyone,

My name is Niecey (pronounced knee-see), I’m from small-town, Oklahoma, and I love Jesus, coffee, and adventure.

I've been a Christian since I was 6 but about 3 or 4 years ago, God really started working in my heart, inviting me on an intimate journey of growth, challenge, trust, and identity in Him. I went on the World Race back in October of 2019 and God really used the whole experience to transform me and continue the growth into the woman He created me to be. I learned so much about my identity, how to live a life full of faith in Him, and more about what my passions, gifts, and talents are.

Some fun facts about me:

  • Proverbs is my favorite book of the Bible.
  • I’m a passionate storyteller and believe that every person should have the space to share theirs. And that by sharing our stories, we create an environment of empathy, understanding, growth, and healing.
  • I love to learn and try new things; so long as not many people are around in case I embarrass myself.
  • I’m a deep thinker (some might call it overthinking).
  • Wisdom and empathy are important values in my life.
  • I love to laugh, spend time with friends, and enjoy adventures of all shapes and sizes (as long as heights are not a part of the equation).
  • Reading, writing, and singing are 3 of my favorite things.
  • God uses music and lyrics to speak to me and I feel the most deeply connected to Him during worship (always up for a worship night).
  • My Myers-Briggs is XNFJ.
  • My love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation (neither one flows naturally for me without quality time; which comes in third).
  • My Spiritual Gifts (according to a test I took) are:
    • Exhortation
    • Helps
    • Mercy
    • Pastor/Shepherding
    • Administration

Thanks for following along with this part of the journey, pull up a chair, and stay awhile!

Niecey
